DC AFC Fieldstone Lord Fox of Lindn, SH, VC

DUAL & AMATUER FIELD CHAMPION!!!

Fox was a once in a lifetime dog! He defined Desire, Intensity, Range, and Style. His good looks have both proven themselves in the show ring as well as the field. Out of our first two Dual Champions, Fox continues the tradition as a third generation Dual Champion.

As a puppy Fox was a top ten VCA derby dog. He either took blue ribbons or nothing. An absolute clown in the field, he was fun to run every time.

Fox's most exciting trait is his run. Paul Rothan can be given credit for teaching fox to love running. At an early age Paul ran Fox off an ATV for hours on end. Eventually this turned into the running style he has exhibited. Fox defined "If you can't RUN with the BIG DOGS... Stay Home." (i.e. let him go, grab a 4x4 and start the chase.)

But, Fox isn't all run and no fun. Fox loved Shirley Rothan, and in turn Shirley spoiled him rotten. Before eating, Fox must give you a kiss or he won't eat.

Fox easily finished his field & amaruer field championship. Along with taking a 4th place at the 2001-VCA National Field Championship. At the 2002 VCA nationals in Arizona Fox reached the interstate, forceing a change in the course layout. Prior to that they said the interstate was too far away and would never be a problem...WRONG!!!! The next stake (NAFC), Fox ran even bigger than in the NFC but was never out of sight for more than a minute. I'll never forget when the judge told me Fox was a nice dog, but just toooooooo much for a national event. We were never happier with Fox than we were that day.

Upon finishing his field championship the Rothan's and Keeton's focused on finishing his show career, needing just two majors. Together with Ann Keil, Fox took a 5 pt major at Echo Hills, and finished with a 3 pt Major at Medina.

Fox passed away November 28th 2005. Fox will always hold a special place in our hearts since he was always considered as one of those "too much dogs."

Fox was owned by Dr. Paul & Shirley Rothan and frozen seman is available to approved bitches. For Specifics please call Denny or Linda Keeton 419-864-1545.

Fox was bred to multiple bitches, producing great looking litters. Like his father and his grandfather, Fox reproduces himself in his get.
