Earl has been a part of our family since he was a puppy. He is owned and loved by Val Smith & Ed Kottmeier but has been trained and campaigned by Denny Keeton. Just like his sire Zack - NAFC DC AFC Wildwood's Back With Zack, MH, VC, ROM - and his grandsire Kye - DC AFC Rebel Rouser N Linden Cyote, SH, VC, TDI - Earl continues the Dual Champion tradition making him a 4th generation Dual.
Earl was quick to earn his puppy derby points and from there he finished his show championship just as quickly. Earl was quick to break out as well and proved to be a natural retriever just like his sire and grandsire before him. Everything about Earl has proven to come naturally. Even his Field Championship and Amateur Field Championship, having completed both by his fourth birthday and first year in the field as a broke gundog.
Earl's tremoundous groundspeed, competative drive, intensity make him a challange to handle at times but when it all comes together its amazing to watch and he's rarely beat. Earl's puppies exhibit alot of his traits - gait, groundspeed, style, natural retrieve, trainability. Making them a joy to workwith and handle in the field.
